Where Are We Headed?

For any of you who weren’t at Family Vacation this past November, we wanted to post the audio of two of the talks given by Midtown pastors on the trip. Both talks cover a lot of ground about how we make decisions as a church, where we’re headed, and why we’re headed there. Enjoy.

Unity and Marshmallows by Adam Gibson
In this talk, Midtown pastor Adam Gibson explains a key ingredient to unity: we must be closed-handed with convictions, and open-handed with methods. We do this for one reason: Jesus being worshipped by more people in our city.
*Note: toward the end of the message, Adam used an illustration in which he emptied one small bag of marshmallows, representing Midtown’s current missionary members, and then multiple garbage bags full of marshmallows were brought in, representing the people who don’t know Jesus in Columbia. We just wanted to clarify since it’s hard to see that through your earphones.

Practical Vision by Dustin Willis
In this talk, Midtown pastor Dustin Willis talks about some specific things coming up in the future of our church, including new campuses, new gathering times, and new people.

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
